I speak Spanish, would it be hard for me to learn Italian or French?

I hear that all three languages are somewhat similar because of their Latin roots. Would this fact enable me to learn one of two languages easier than learning something like Tagalog(although this has some words similar to Spanish words), Nihongo, or Mandarin?
