I am actually decent in spanish and can carry on basic conversations with spanish speaking people. I am going to spain on a class trip next year and want to improve my accent. I can’t roll my r’s and when I am speaking to someone i butcher many of the words. Up until about 6th grade by teachers would tell me I had a lovely spanish accent but I have lost it. Please help!

The pronunciation comes natural to me, It’s mainly the memorization that I have difficulty on.

I do study with a Spanish speaking family that lives below me every day….
They teach me Spanish,
And I teach them English,
My question is. . . . Is that how long would it take someone to learn Spanish & be able to speak it well ????
