Watch movies in Spanish. That’ll give you a good idea of how people really talk.

Move to a spanish speaking country as a student or just for work. And watch spanish television.

You should watch the news in spanish. Since it has pictures and they speak somewhat slow it might be easier for you to pick up on what they are talking about.

Watch the spanish news if you live in USA and have basic cable, you can also watch the spanish novelas, a little exagerated at times but they can be really steamy and **** at times. Go to your local library and check out some spanish books, Im sure they have a spanish section like where I live. Just make sure its consistent and you do something that involves listening, speaking, or reading spanish every day.

  • Learning Spanish For Kids

You have to know [if you don't] that in Spanish we spell words the same way they are written. Once you learn the spelling of the vowels, that’s the most important thing, you will learn words faster. Get a good English to Spanish dictionary and start learning words. When I didn’t speak English I was taught a trick by my teacher, she told me to write words and phrases I didn’t know in a paper and place them somewhere I could see them every day, the more you look at things the more you will remember them, so this trick could really help with Spanish as well. You could go to places where a lot of Spanish people meet and have conversations with them, or try to speak with your Spanish friends always in Spanish. Get a book written in Spanish and try to translate a few phrases into English, this way you get use to translating. The last thing it’s to watch a lot of Spanish television…i hope my answer helps…oh and you could also hire a Spanish tutor if you can afford one, bye take care
