Rosetta Stone is very helpful, but if you could afford it you could probably afford a tutor. Go on Craigslist and post an ad. See if anyone would help you.
The way I learned was I met my boyfriend at work, he spoke very little English and I spoke very little Spanish. I moved in with him and everyone in that house spoke Spanish, watched t.v. in Spanish, did EVERYTHING in Spanish. I had to learn it. I learned enough to get by after 2 weeks. I’m still learning, but I am pretty much fluent.
